Gemstroids

Clear the field. The next wave pays more.

Crack gem-studded asteroids in this incremental space-mining game. You steer while your lasers do the mining. Clear the field and a richer wave rolls in. Chase comets, dodge black holes, then grow a skill tree, draw talents, build guns and go deeper.

The name

Illustration, not a recording

In 1932 Karl Jansky, a Bell Labs engineer, picked up a faint radio hiss coming from the Milky Way.

A few years later Grote Reber built a dish in his backyard and mapped that hiss across the sky, in papers he called “Cosmic Static”.

The studio took its name from that first radio sound heard from beyond the Earth.
